Michigan Part IIII: Mackinac Island

View of the Mighty Mac. A town and island so rich in history & character, was such a beautiful way to spend our last days in Michigan.

Zachy Boy excited to go under the bridge! Riding the Ferry to Mackinac Island.

The Famous Fort: full of restored settings and pieces of history. We walked through the town as if it were the 1800's.

Not a single motor vehicle on island. Mode of transportation is horse & carriage &/or bicycles. Awesome. The huge draft & clydesdale horses clip clop all day long. A pair can haul up to 8000 lbs. (in the pic are on the small side comparatively)
