Christmas Eve's Eve

Just can't help it! These lil' elves are the cutest!!!

Halemaua Street wins the "best Christmas lights!". It was a family vote. Mikaela entertained us with her rendition of "Jingle Bells/Mr. Sun" as we slowly drove past beautifully twinkling Christmas lights in Wailuku. I think we came up with a good family tradition for Christmas Eve's eve.

It has been a fun year, even without a tree. (yes, how lame is that? we don't have a tree. boo for timing on our part. Maui ran out of Christmas trees. I have 2 wreaths instead)

None the less we are still having a grand time! Me & Mikaela sing our Christmas songs every time we drive around. And she is loving choosing a few small gifts for her friends. I love seeing her excitement in it! She does a pretty good re-enactment of the Navitity story too. Mik made a gingerbread house. She and Kiah had a fun time eating all the candy off of it. And more to come in the next 2 days! Can't wait for Santa tomorrow night. Stay tuned...

Those are truly the cutest little elves that ever packed a sleigh-full of happy gifts. What a blessing those two are--even to us so far away. You just can't help but smile when you see those two faces! We loved your Christmas card and love you four. Your story is one of the happiest blessings in our year.
